Maintenance Engineer (Day shift)

Vickerstock is working alongside our client in Dungannon to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer.

Our client is leading manufacturer within their field, starting from humble beginnings as a local engineering firm to now supplying state of the art products to commercial customers in over 100 countries across the globe.

This would be an ideal opportunity for a Time-Served Engineer with experience in a factory environment who wants a rewarding career with a world-class Manufacturer.

What the role will entail

• Carrying out Fault-Finding on a range of Mechanical and Electrical Machinery and equipment on site to determine root cause of issues.
• Creating and implementing efficient planned preventative maintenance programmes.
• Responding to and prioritising breakdowns in line with Manufacturing requirements, ensuring issues are fixed correctly and minimising downtime.
• Working from complex Electrical & Mechanical engineering drawings.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment and following health and safety guidelines.

What you will need for this role

• Experience in a similar factory/industrial Maintenance role.
• A relevant Mechanical and/or Electrical qualification.
• Experience with PPMs.
• Ability to work well alone unsupervised under pressure and communicate effectively when working in a team.
