Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our market leading food manufacturing client based in Cookstown to recruit a Maintenance Engineer.

Our client is a leading household consumer brand with millions of customers across the UK and beyond each year. This role would be well suited to a Time-Served Maintenance Engineer with experience carrying out Maintenance on high-speed production Machinery.

Duties of this role include

• Carrying out Preventative Maintenance on site Machinery & Equipment in accordance with PPM program.
• Participating in the installation of Electrical & Mechanical systems across the site.
• Responding to & prioritising breakdowns in line with Production requirements, investigating fault and carrying out remedial actions.
• Maintaining accurate records of Maintenance activities.
• Adhering to strict environmental/health & safety guidelines and regulations.
• Other duties as necessary.

What you will need

• Third level Engineering qualification and/or Time-Served Apprenticeship.
• Minimum of 2 year's Maintenance experience within an FMCG environment.
• Experience with PPM programmes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and all round good technical aptitude.
