Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our client based in Mallusk to assist with recruitment of a Maintenance Manager (Mechanical).

Our client is one of Northern Ireland's leading Manufacturing firms, coming from humble beginnings to now having various sites across the UK and a global customer base.

What will this role entail?

• Leading and motivating a team of Mechanical Maintenance Engineers, ensuring that targets and KPI's are achieved whilst providing training and mentoring when necessary.
• Ensuring that Machinery & Equipment is operating at full capacity by minimising downtime through effective planned & unplanned maintenance.
• Assisting with the planning and implementation of expansions across the factory, including carrying out Machinery and Equipment installations.
• Managing the Maintenance department's budget.
• Ensuring that the Maintenance team adhere to strict health & safety/environmental regulations.

What will you need for this role?

• Experience of leading a medium to large sized Maintenance team within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• A third-level Engineering qualification.
• Project Management experience.
• IOSH or NEBOSH qualification would be a distinct advantage for this role.
• Excellent level of IT literacy and ability to use Microsoft office packages.
