Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our client in Lurgan to recruit a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician.

Our client is one of the worlds leading packaging companies, and they have a reputation for staff retention due to their ongoing commitment to providing a clear pathway for personal and professional development. This vacancy has come about due to an internal promotion.

What this role will entail

• Carrying out planned Maintenance on factory machinery in accordance with PPM schedules.
• Responding to breakdowns, identifying faults, and carrying out remedial actions quickly to minimise production downtime.
• Fault-finding on a range of Electrical, Mechanical, Pneumatic & Hydraulic systems.
• Working closely with other departments and communicating clearly with regards to downtime etc.
• Maintaining clear and accurate documentation.

What you'll need for this role

• Time-Served Engineering Apprenticeship.
• Experience/knowledge of Electrical & Mechanical systems.
• Experience working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Excellent knowledge of health & safety procedures.
