Maintenance Technician (Electrically biased)

£48,000.00

Vickerstock are proudly working in partnership with our client based in Enniskillen who are one of the world's largest and most respected food producers, producing a range of beloved household brands. They are currently on the lookout for a Maintenance Technician with an Electrical bias to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for somebody with a background in Maintenance who wants to earn a competitive salary and join a world-class organisation.

Shift Pattern: Continental- 12 hour rotating pattern (Days and Nights) 6am - 6pm - 6pm - 6am

Duties will include.

  • Perform routine maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems/equipment to ensure optimal functionality & reduce downtime.
  • Troubleshoot and repair both Electrical and Mechanical faults relating to site machinery.
  • Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns, providing efficient solutions for both electrical and mechanical issues.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical and some mechanical components to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns.
  • Install, configure, and maintain both electrical some mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Liaise with other departments, maintaining clear communication throughout.

Requirements.

  • Time-served Electrical or Mechatronic Apprenticeship.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician with a focus on electrical systems.
  • Familiarity with mechanical systems Maintenance.
  • Strong working knowledge of health and safety procedures, preferably within a FMCG/Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and fix technical issues efficiently.
