Maintenance Technician

£40k - (Evenings, Monday to Friday)

Duties will include

• Contributing to the development of PPM schedules and ensuring that these are followed.
• Responding to and prioritising breakdowns to maximise operational efficiency, carrying out fault diagnosis and repairs when necessary.
• Assisting with installations of new equipment.
• Ensuring that site equipment is compliant with regulatory standards.
• Maintaining clear and accurate records of all Maintenance & Installation works carried out.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment.

What you will need for this role

• Time-Served Mechanical Apprenticeship or third level qualification in a Mechanical discipline.
• Experience working in a Maintenance role within a production/industrial environment.
• Experience of carrying out fault-finding and repairs on Automated Machinery and good all-round knowledge of these systems.
• Flexible approach towards working hours to meet production needs when necessary.
• Fabrication experience is highly advantageous.
