Management Accountant | Newry

Vickerstock are working with an award-winning employer based in Newry to recruit for a Management Accountant to join their team on a permanent basis. The Management Accountant will ensure the timely preparation of monthly management accounts throughout the company.

Your new role as Management Accountant

• Assisting with preparation of group management accounts, year-end accounts and board reports.
• Monitoring spending and recommending ways to reduce costs and increase profit.
• Assisting with group payroll when required.
• Enhancing procedures to improve efficiency.
• Production and distribution of financial KPIs.
• Keeping up to date with financial policies, regulations and legislation.
• Liaising with banking institutions and government agencies.
• Ad hoc financial analysis as required.

What you'll need to succeed as Management Accountant

• Recognised accounting qualification (eg ACA, ACCA, CIMA) part or newly qualified
• Strong MS Excel skills
• 2 years' experience
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Possess strong attention to detail
• Desirable Criteria:
• Experience in working with Microsoft Sage 200
• Experience in the implementation of an ERP system.
