Salary £35,000 to £40,000

This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious engineer to advance in their career within this rapidly expanding company

Your new role

• Plan, design, set up, test, modify, optimise and monitor manufacturing processes and equipment
• Research, propose and implement opportunities for process improvement
• Implement the most efficient and cost-effective production methods required to manufacture products.
• Coordinate with production and quality control to help identify any issues affecting production and establish what fixes are required.
• Development of lean manufacturing principles.
• Ensure equipment and processes meet health, safety, quality and environmental
• Requirements
• Support the maintenance team to trouble-shoot and repair manufacturing equipment

What you'll need

• 3 years experience in a similar role gained within a high-volume manufacturing environment
• Relevant engineering degree
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and process improvement
• Experience of overseeing process improvement projects
• Working knowledge of CAD
