Manufacturing Manager

Salary up to £60k depending on relevant experience

Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of NI's leading manufacturing companies for the appointment of an experienced Manufacturing Manager. Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for the management of a team of 25 with a focus on lean manufacturing.

Your new role

• Adhere to all quality and safety standards within the department.
• Manage the day to day running of the manufacturing department.
• Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects.
• Support the process of developing product and assembly BOM's and manufacturing support information.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to ensure individual and team optimum performance.
• Support implementation of cost, quality, and service improvement initiatives.
• Assist in the design and build of tools and equipment.
• Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.

What you'll need

• 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry
• Highly knowledgeable in lean manufacturing
• Experience in leading lean projects
• Experience in leading a team of manufacturing engineers
