Manufacturing Process Engineer

Greater Belfast

Salary up to £39,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a global manufacturing company for the recruitment of a Manufacturing Process Engineer. Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for driving continuous improvements across the factory.

Your new role

• Analyse current systems and processes identifying area's of improvement
• Identify and analyse trends that shows opportunities for process improvements and cost savings
• Drive a continuous improvement culture across the site, providing training where required
• Identify and improve manufacturing profitability through productivity improvement
• Create and maintain required documentation for manufacturing processes
• Recommend process improvements to streamline product flow
• Analysing and planning workflow, space requirements and equipment placement to maximise manufacturing efficiency.
• Create new processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary and performance goals.

What you'll need

• Third level engineering qualification
• 3 years' experience in a similar position
• Experience implementing process improvements
• Excellent knowledge of Lean Methodologies
