Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established engineering manufacturing business based in Mid Ulster to recruit a Tempory Materials Planner / Inventory Control professional.

This role will suit someone with strong experience in materials planning, inventory management and purchase order processing within a manufacturing or engineering environment. You will play a key role in ensuring material availability to support production schedules while maintaining accurate stock control.

The Role:

• Plan and manage material requirements to meet production demands

• Raise, issue and manage purchase orders with approved suppliers

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records

• Liaise closely with production, engineering and stores teams

• Track supplier deliveries and resolve shortages or delays

• Support continuous improvement in inventory control processes

The Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in a materials planning, inventory control or buyer-type role

• Background within engineering or manufacturing environments

• Strong ERP/MRP system experience

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting
