Vickerstock are proud to be working in partnership with one of Northern Ireland's market leading, clients to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager to join their established team in Greater Belfast on a full time permanent basis.

Hybrid working, 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

The Payroll Manager will report to the Financial Controller, and will be responsible for the operational control of the payroll function.

Your new role as a Payroll Manager

• Operational control of both the weekly and monthly payrolls and management of the Payroll Supervisor
• Processing payroll for 400 staff
• Provide cover for the Payroll Supervisor and assist when required in the calculation of the payrolls including the maintenance of the Kronos Time & Attendance System and calculation of holiday pay
• Preparation of weekly labour transfers between various departments
• Assess the technology currently utilised within the Payroll function and recommend enhancements where required
• Preparing and submitting of the Pension contributions to the various schemes and the annual declaration for the Insurance
• Liaising with international payroll providers on the monthly overseas payrolls
• Other Payroll related tasks such as End of year filing, PRP calculations, Court Orders, Childcare Vouchers, Cycle to Work scheme, Charity giving etc
• Daily use of Sage Payroll and MS Excel

What you will need as Payroll Manager

• 5 GCSEs including Maths and English or equivalent
• 3 years recent experience gained within a payroll environment
• Advanced knowledge of payroll systems
• Candidates will have an advanced working knowledge of MS Excel together with Sage payroll experience.
