Your new role as a PLC/Controls Engineer

  • Software Development and Testing: Design, develop, and enhance software solutions, including PLC control systems, and conduct thorough testing.
  • Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical documents, such as work instructions, parts lists, and maintenance guides.
  • Mentorship and Technical Guidance: Mentor team members and provide technical direction to identify effective design solutions.
  • Customer-Focused Solutions: Develop and test solutions to meet customer needs, researching manufacturing and assembly methods.
  • R&D and Quality Assurance: Participate in R&D projects to expand product offerings, ensuring product quality through rigorous testing and compliance with regulations.

Role Requirements:

  • Educational Background: HND or equivalent in electronic/electrical engineering, or relevant engineering experience.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of postgraduate experience in a similar software design role.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in software programming with Danfoss, Codesys, and Siemens.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read and create detailed electrical drawings, with knowledge of current regulations and design standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
