Product Engineer

Belfast

Salary £35,000 to £37,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of NI's leading home grown manufacturing companies for the recruitment of a Product Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a highly recognised manufacturing firm offering excellent progression routes.

Your new role

• Assist with the development and testing required for product development through to third party certification
• Generating general and specific information in support of products and their uses
• Generating design proposal
• Monitor, analyse and provide recommendations to enhance the manufacturing process using statistical tools, both proactively
• Establish and develop safe working methods for all aspects of product testing
• Maintain process documentation, including process flow diagrams, operating instructions, training documentation, product specifications
• Creating and maintaining product specifications
• Building proposals for product improvement based on the analysis of test results
• Regular review of product legislation and compliance including certification

What you'll need

• Engineering Degree
• Experience of 2D and 3D Cad packages
• Experience in product testing or product development
