Monday to Thursday 8.00am - 5.00 pm and 8.00 am- 2.30 pm on Friday

The Role

As Production Supervisor, you will take ownership of day-to-day production activities, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality output. This role will suit someone who enjoys being on the floor, coaching teams, and creating a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Ensure full compliance with all Health, Safety, and Environmental regulations across the company.
  • Champion and embed best-practice business processes using lean manufacturing principles
  • Provide effective leadership to Group Leaders, Production Supervisors, Managers, and Team Members to ensure adherence to all processes and standards.
  • Oversee and control day-to-day production flow to ensure on-time delivery through level pull systems.
  • Manage production costs within budget and support the development of departmental budgets.
  • Ensure delivery of customer-ready, zero-defect quality to both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain and continuously improve existing lean manufacturing processes.
  • Manage and control Standard Work in Process (SWIP) throughout the operation.
  • Monitor and control inventory through ongoing cycle checks and accurate reporting.
  • Ensure engineering items, equipment, and machinery are properly maintained using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Apply and coach core lean principles including Flow, Level Pull, TAKT adherence, JIT, Problem Solving, Continuous Improvement, Visual Management, and Synchronous Material Flow systems (PFEP, Kanban).

What You'll Bring

  • Previous experience in a production supervision role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Background in manufacturing engineering and/or manufacturing systems.
  • Strong, practical understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
  • A proven track record in promoting efficiency, continuous improvement, and business process excellence.
  • A collaborative leadership style with the ability to inspire a "One Team" mindset.
