Due to high investment Vickerstock are working in partnership with our FMCG client who are specialist in their field and have distinguished themselves through their commitment to purity, quality, and eco-friendly production processes.

This is a strong opportunity for career progression and growth to Operation Manager level within 18 months through hard work and dedication to the business.

Reporting to the CEO you will have responsibility for up to 10 staff in the factory and manage the planning and efficient running of the factory to maximise production output.
Key duties

• Ensure the effective day to day organisation of production, cleanliness and quality
• Maximise machine running time and staff productivity
• Effectively supervise the Production Supervisors and Production Operatives
• Liaise with the Factory Manager on any issues relating to staff
• Ensure all daily paperwork is completed correctly and accurate
• Training of all Production Staff
• Adhere to all procedures set out in the company's quality manual
• Ensure health and safety, food safety, legality, integrity, quality and environmental obligations are met.
• Deputise for the Factory Manager during absence

We are looking for

• Strong Supervisory/Management experience preferably within food manufacturing
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Requirements
• Level 3 HACCP would be an advantage but not essential
