Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of NI's leading global employers for the recruitment of a Production Supervisor. Reporting to the Production Manager you will be responsible for ensuring your team meet production targets in an efficient manner.

Your new role

• Controlling and managing the day-to-day production levels on the shop floor, to ensure that the targets are achieved.
• Ensure that the highest quality of product is maintained.
• Attend and organise the daily and weekly production meetings.
• Manage the manufacturing team in terms of labour, work instruction, attendance management and any disciplinary and grievance issues that may arise.
• Promote health & safety within the workplace.
• Ensure the line is run in accordance with lean manufacturing practices and principals.
• Ensure compliance to all general site rules, regulations, and policies.

What you'll need

• Significant production experience gained within manufacturing environment.
• Experience of managing a team of production operatives
• An understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement techniques
