Production Team Lead - Monday to Friday Days

£28,000 to £30,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a bespoke manufacturing company based in Ballymena for the recruitment of a Production Team Leader. Reporting the Production Manager, you will act as first point of contact for line employees and all line queries.

Main duties

• Organise workflow and people resources to meet specifications and deadlines.
• Liaise with other department managers to ensure production and despatch is on target.
• Provide a daily shift report to the Production Manager
• Report any employee absences or lateness to the Finishing Manager
• Ensure all batches and documentation are complete through each stage of the process.
• Motivate and enhance performance through training, cross skilling and communication.
• Ensure all accidents and near misses within your area are investigated to identify root cause and implement countermeasures to prevent reoccurrence.
• Report all maintenance to management and continue to follow up until complete.
• Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations to management to support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

What you'll need

• A minimum of 1 years' experience within a supervisory position within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience of supporting and motivating a team to achieve KPI's.
• Knowledge of quality standards
