Vickerstock are working in partnership with our client who are industry leaders within food ingredients and are seeking a Quality Manager to join the team.
With customers in Ireland, the UK, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East there will be opportunities to work with all types of protein to the varying demands and requirements these markets have. Consequently, experience will be gained in hugely diverse areas.
You will have access to the world's leading food ingredients manufacturers of primary products based in Europe, North America, India and China.

As a Quality Manager reporting directly to the Technical Manager you will have responsibility for driving Quality, Food Safety & Food Safety Culture in the manufacturing facility resulting in continuous quality improvement. You will ensure that an overall culture of quality process improvement and work alongside the production teams to ensure quality standards daily. Working in a fast-paced environment with ability to work efficiently on your own.
We are looking for;

• Quality/Food Science qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in a Quality/Technical role within Food.
• Knowledge and experience dealing with BRC Global Food Safety Standards.
• Strong regulatory & specification writing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, and Food Fraud.
