Quantity Surveyor | Antrim
Vickerstock are partnering with a Northern Ireland based Building Contractors in their recruitment of an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their dedicated team on a permanent basis. Established for over 35 years, our client has the skills and expertise to deliver both civil engineering and building solutions for major projects. In joining the team, you will also be working with one of the leading building restoration contractors in Ireland.
Your New Role as Quantity Surveyor
This is a pivotal role where you will be working alongside fully experienced Contracts Manager and Commercial Manager, managing commercial projects throughout Ireland valued up to £10M and participating in weekly internal project review meetings. You will liaise regularly with client QS, delivering tender and CAPEX agreed costs, submitting monthly valuations, compiling variations and Final Account for submission and agreement. You will also manage sub-contractor activities, including appointing work packages, managing the monthly valuations and agreeing sub-contractor final accounts.
What you need to succeed
- You will demonstrate 5 years' or more experience within a surveying role.
- You will hole a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a related subject.
- You will hold a valid driving license.
