Quantity Surveyor | 2-5 years experience | Belfast

Vickerstock are pleased to be partnered with one of our clients group companies in their search for a Quantity Surveyor to join their dedicated team.

Working closely with the Commercial Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity to take on a core role within a small team set-up, supporting both the Commercial Director and Project Management team.

As part of the Operations and Maintenance function, you will be responsible for providing first-class services beyond final delivery. Covering a range of projects including Barrier Installation, Electrical and Utilities, and Traffic Management, to name a few.

Summary of your new role

You will be taking on a full-time permanent position as a Quantity Surveyor, based at our client's Belfast office.

The role will require occasional travel to sites and depots in Northern Ireland and ROI. However, this will be minimal and not weekly.

Crucially, you will provide links and maintain commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders and managing customer and supplier accounts. You will be involved in the traditional duties expected of a role at this level, to include:

• All aspects of Cost Management, from planning and reporting to forecasting and cost control.
• Support the commercial and project teams with maintaining commercial information and managing project risks.
• Providing commercial and contract advice where required.

Is this the role for you

• You achieved a third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or related discipline.
• You have gained between 2 and 5 years experience in a similar role within a maintenance and/or civils environment.
• You are passionate about progressing your career in an environment that provides training for continual professional development.
• You feel confident working independently and on a sub-contract basis.
