R&D Engineer
€40k - €45k
Dundalk
Monday - Friday

Vickerstock are working in partnership with the world's leading provider of on-road handling equipment to assist them with the recruitment of Project Manager for their site in Dundalk. Our client has close to 3500 employees across the world.

They are on the lookout a R&D Engineer to work within their research and development department. As the R&D Engineer you will oversee risk-related project, handle reporting and sign off on compliant documents.

Your responsibilities as a R&D Engineer:

  • Producing reports on compliance testing, development and processes
  • Ensuring the company's technical compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Oversee tests and studies into the company's product compliance
  • Instituting best-practice procedures for compliance and risk mitigation
  • Developing strategies and implementation plans for compliance-related matters
  • Defining compliance protocols and measures to stakeholders and relevant authorities
  • Advising on compliance-related matters and updating standards library and risk assessments
  • Checking the status of various business operations to ensure compliance with regulations.

As a R&D Engineer, ideally you will have:

  • It is essential you have a degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering.
  • Experience with product testing and process analysis
  • Solid technical knowledge and understanding of product/process design
  • Proficiency in report writing, analysis, and compliance procedures
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory frameworks
  • Skilled in business operations or project management
  • Problem-solving abilities are essential.
