Sales Executive - Logistics

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Logistics company based in Armagh to recruit for a Sales Executive to expand their current client base in Northern Ireland.

This Sales Executive will be responsible for generating new business and ensuring that sales targets are met or exceeded across all lines of business.

Experience of working within the logistics sector is essential for this role. A full driving licence is also required.

Your new role as a Sales Executive - Logistics

  • Grow revenue and relationships with existing customer base.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking and referrals.
  • Target and qualify a list of potential clients in the Sea and/or Road freight import & export sectors
  • Gain new business and target new trade lanes within client selection
  • Generate sales leads and act on them
  • Establish strong relationships to customers as well as colleagues
  • Drive business development reviews and to ensure that CRM is updated to the highest standards
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction- maintain close contact with all customers- including follow up on concerns or other issues.
  • Negotiate contracts and rate agreements.

What you will need as a Sales Executive - Logistics

  • Proven sales experience in Logistics / Freight Forwarding
  • Ability to identify market leads and convert them into business opportunities.
  • Flexible and proactive approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word).
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
