Your new role as a Senior Civil Engineer (Railway)
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians and other professionals to support in the development of detailed designs, primarily working on a variety of Translink projects. As a Senior Engineer you will lead the design process and support in construction stage project management. You will also be responsible for assigning and checking the project work of graduate engineers and technicians and providing mentoring and support where required.
What you will need to succeed as a Senior Civil Engineer (Railway)
- Be a Chartered Civil Engineer;
- A minimum of 10-years post-graduate experience working in a consultancy environment;
- Strong technical skills in the design of railway civil engineering projects;
- The ability to lead design development, assigning workload and monitoring progress;
- A knowledge of permanent way design is an advantage;
