Vickerstock Recruitment are pleased to be working with a Tier 1 contractor in the Building and Civil Engineering industry operating throughout the UK and Ireland to recruit for the position of Senior Project Manager. This organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex, high value projects across the full built environment spectrum. Founded in Northern Ireland, this local success story is now one of the UK's largest contractors and continues to go from strength to strength, working on projects throughout the UK. Your new role as Senior Project Manager

As Project Manager, you must understand the contract requirements as contained within the tender documentation and an understanding of the conditions of contract for the project. You will also understand the tender pricing structure and strategy including the tender prelims allowance and develop a strategy to work. It is your responsibility to lead the subcontractor procurement process and ensure they have been appointed in a timely manner; this also involves attending subcontractor pre-start meetings. You will oversee all administrative aspects of the project, ensuring they are appropriately managed. It is important that you have knowledge of and understand relevant H&S legislation and regulations.

  • A qualification in a construction related degree

What's in it for you?
