Senior Quantity Surveyor | Fit-out | Belfast

Vickerstock are working in partnership with a Specialist Joinery and fit-out Contractor based in Co. Antrim to support in the recruitment of a Senior Quantity Surveyor. For over 45 years this company has continued to grow and offer a bespoke joinery and fit out service from design to manufacture, site management and instillation. This client has an impressive portfolio of High-end projects covering a range of sectors including Commercial, Residential, Stadiums and Marine.

This newly created role is a result of on-going growth plans for the business through their ability to deliver on complex and bespoke designs, resulting in continuous contract awards.

Your new role as Senior Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for negotiation, site measure, review of contract documents, subcontractor procurement, payment applications, agreement of variations and final accounts. Other responsibilities include preparation of cash flows, monthly cost reports and analysis of budgets to ensure successful, efficient project delivery.

What you will need to succeed as a Senior Quantity Surveyor

• 5+ years' experience in a similar role in Fit-out or Build
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or extensive experience in a similar position
• Be proactive and ability to work well under pressure
• Good communication, negotiation and IT skills including Microsoft packages i.e., Excel

Desirable - (Don't worry if you don't have these)

• Experience in Conquest package would be advantageous
