Site Engineer | London

Vickerstock Recruitment are delighted to be working with one of Northern Ireland's leading main contractors to recruit for the position of Site Engineer. With a number of specialist divisions including Construction, Civil Engineering and Fit Out, this organisation has the capability and expertise to deliver highly complex projects across the full built environment spectrum. With offices across the UK, this local success story is now one of the UK's largest contractors and continues to go from strength to strength. This particular role is based in London. You will be working on a £120m project based in London, working on the construction of two commercial buildings and a multi-storey carpark.

Your new role as Site Engineer

As Site Engineer, you are responsible for ensuring all site personnel are inducted and have approved risk assessments and method statements in place. You will assist the Project team with ensuring work is completed to the quality required by the contract drawings and specification. You will ensure accurate setting out and dimensional control, ensure all drawings and documents are kept up to date and produce weekly/monthly progress reports. As Site Engineer, you will hold subcontractor progress meetings and ensure the project programme is communicated to the supply chain before works commence.

What you will need to succeed as Site Engineer

• Good working experience in similar roles
• Experience in setting out large scale contracts
• SMSTS qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Good level of experience in groundworks and steel frame buildings
