Switchgear & Controls Department Manager

Belfast office based

On offer:

£45-55k+bonus
08.30-16.30 Mon-Fri

Responsibilities:

Management of workshop staff, space and workload
Management of office staff including electrical design engineers and switchgear estimators
Oversight of all Switchgear & controls projects from a commercial and technical perspective
Pricing and oversight of pricing on all switchgear & controls projects
Client interaction from a commercial and technical perspective

Experience required:

A minimum of 2 years relevant managerial experience in a similar role in this industry over electrical design and panel building etc
Experience of overseeing the designing, costing and managing build of switchgear & power distribution panels
Experience of overseeing the designing, costing and managing build of control panels and motor control centres
Time served switchgear / panel builder background / experience
Commercial understanding
AutoCad / Eplan knowledge
Ability to understand electrical drawings and schematics
Ability to use online job management system
