Vickerstock are delighted to be working in partnership with our client, one of Ireland's most respected food-to-go companies, on the appointment of Technical Manager for their East Belfast based site.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Managing Director to maintain and develop the Technical and Quality Department.

What your day to day will look like:

• Maintaining current accreditations BRC and customer specific.
• Day to day management of GMP and quality.
• Communication with customers and suppliers regarding product development and specifications.
• Continuous improvement of standards and best practice.
• Management of Quality team consisting of Quality Manager and QAs.

What you will need to succeed:

• 3rd level qualification in relevant discipline, or equivalent
• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Technical and quality management experience
• Knowledge of BRC, HACCP, Food legislation and Food Hygiene
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Team leadership qualities

Desirable Criteria (it would be great if you have this but don't worry if you don't)

• Chilled food and high- risk experience.
