Transport Coordinator


We are currently recruiting for a Transport Coordinator for a very successful organisation based in Armagh.

Reporting to the Transport Manager the successful candidate will be required to maintain transport documents, records and systems, keeping track records of vehicle maintenance and repairs and any other admin duties

The Transport Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Maintain transport documents, records and systems (TMS system & Fleet Records)
  • Monitor compliance of transport regulation, safety regulations and Company policies
  • Organise and coordinate fleet vehicle tax and MOT's & PSV's
  • Keeping track of vehicle maintenance and repair records
  • Ordering of goods & shipping parts
  • Checking PO's and Invoices
  • General Admin duties

What you'll need as a Transport Coordinator :

  • Proficient in MS Office to include Excel and Sage 200
  • Experience of working under pressure in a customer facing environment to give a high standard of customer service, resolving any issues with customers' demands;
  • Valid Driving Licence

Desirable :

  • Previous experience using Transport Management Systems
  • Previous relevant experience in logistics and warehousing;
  • Previous relevant experience in sales order processing;
