Vickerstock are working in partnership with an engineering firm based in Derry/Londonderry on the appointment of a Stores Supervisor.

Reporting directly to the Materials Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and steady flow of materials to production.

• Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm & Fri 8am-2.15pm

In your new role:

• Strong focus on ensuring strict Health & Safety procedures, inventory control and applying lean standards to the stores
• Managing and mentoring the Stores Team deli-gating day to day pick sequences
• Providing training to new and existing team members
• Reporting on any shortages, stock out issues and identifying root causes
• Strong focus on continuous improvement, implementing change to improve efficiencies
• Working towards KPI target, delivering weekly reports
• Manage daily cycle count process, including investigation though to resolution

What you will need to succeed:

• 5 years experience working in a fast paced stores/warehouse with a strong focus on continuous improvement
• Minimum of 1 year supervisory or management of a stores/warehouse team
• Proficient with Warehouse Management Systems and/or MRP/ERP systems
