Accounts Receivable Administrator | Mallusk


Vickerstock are recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Administrator for our client based in Mallusk.

Reporting to the Financial Controller the Accounts Receivable Administrator has primary responsibility for processing sales invoices and performing the function of debt collection ensuring customers pay on time.

Your new role as Accounts Receivable Administrator will include:

  • Managing overdue balances & resolving queries by contacting customers by phone, email & letter.
  • Processing of sales invoices.
  • Preparation of credit notes for authorisation.
  • Processing of Consignment sales invoices.
  • Intercompany stock transfer.
  • Checking invoices against Sales day books.
  • Posting cash receipts.
  • Entering invoice/credit amounts onto banks
  • Monthly bank submission.
  • Dealing with Trade Counters/Commercial requests.
  • New Account requests.
  • Bank Lodgements.
  • End of Month procedures and Month End Reports
  • Dealing with internal queries about payments.

What you'll need to succeed as Accounts Receivable Administrator.

  • 5 GCSE passes (or equivalent) including English and Maths.
  • Min 1 year's recent & relevant broad-based experience.
  • Working knowledge of windows-based software including excel spreadsheets.
  • Excellent written and oral communication, time management & organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Initiative and ability work to strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
