Working hours: Monday - Thursday (8am - 4.30pm) & Friday (8am - 2pm).

In your new role:

• Sourcing new suppliers, building relationships with new and existing key suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices lead times & terms of business
• Play a key role in carrying out various cost saving projects
• Frequently liaise with production, inventory, and planning teams to ensure all materials are on site on time to meet production needs
• Frequently liaise with internal stakeholders including NPD, Quality, Program Management & Operations
• Daily use of the MRP system, Sage and all Microsoft office package to carry out various tasks
• Create sourcing plans supporting NPI process to deliver new projects

What you will need to succeed:

• A minimum of 2 years experience working in a fast paced, purchasing department preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Sound working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and all Microsoft Office packages
• Proficient with all Microsoft Office packages
• Full driving license
