Buyer (Scheduling)
Location: Mid ulster
Full Time permanent position - Day time hours Mon - Friday early finish on a Friday
On Offer:
- £27,000 - £32,000 per anum

A large established homegrown Northern I company, that has an international reach of companies. Working within the design and manufacture of heavy metal machinery products this company has a strong order book and due to growth, there seeking a new scheduling buyer to add to their team.
Role and responsibilities:
- Ensure timely availability and accurate delivery of Purchase Orders for Manufacturing per the production schedule.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, reports, price lists, and communicate engineering changes to suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and manage supplier relationships to meet KPIs.
- Support process improvements, ensure compliance with IFS for procurement, and manage MRP system accuracy.
- Maintain inventory control, including min/max levels, reordering, and resolving non-conformance reports (NCRs).
- Liaise with internal teams to support assembly requirements and improve operational processes.
- Investigate and address issues affecting OTD and job closure.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and company quality/environmental standards.
- Expedite procurement project schedules, resolve supplier invoice issues, and assist with other assigned tasks.
Essential:
- Educated to degree level in a related subject
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a purchasing function in an engineering manufacturing environment.
- Experience of working with ERP/MRP
