Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland

About the Company

Vickerstock is proud to be partnering with a well-respected civil engineering consultancy to recruit a CAD Technician for their Belfast office.

The successful candidate will support the engineering team by creating detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD and other CAD software.
• Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure accurate and timely delivery of project drawings.
• Modify and update existing drawings based on project requirements.
• Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and industry best practices.
• Assist with the preparation of design documents and technical reports.
• Manage and maintain drawing files and records.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a CAD Technician, preferably within a civil engineering consultancy.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with Revit and other CAD software is desirable.
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
