Civil Engineer / Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

Vickerstock is delighted to be working with a specialist European based Contractor involved in the delivery of renewable energy, subsea cable and marine projects. Due to recent project wins the engineering team is expanding across all levels to meet the anticipated requirements for the energy transition. The company has several existing significant projects within UK & Europe for delivery in 2024 and a strong pipeline of projects with existing clients in the years ahead.

Your new role as a Civil Engineer / Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, marine operations, technicians and other professionals to support in the development of detailed designs and delivery of projects on a variety of subsea and landside cable projects. Due to the nature of the work, some travel will be required.

What you will need to succeed as a Civil Engineer / Project Manager (Renewable Energy)

  • Be a Civil Engineer or other relevant discipline within the marine and environmental or have experience of cable and/or pipelines (Water/Gas) installation on land.
  • A minimum of 3-years post-graduate experience working in as a contractor or in consultancy environment.
  • Can work in a team and within a rewarding and challenging environment.
  • Strong technical and organisation skills in the delivery of projects.
  • The ability to lead design development, assigning workload and monitoring progress and liaising with clients.
  • A knowledge of another European language is beneficial but not essential such as German, French, Dutch, or Danish.
