Vickerstock are working in partnership with a haulage firm in the Greater Belfast area on the appointment of a Customs Clerk.

In your new role:

• Handling import & export shipments and full Customs Clearance facilities across the UK and Ireland (full training on all aspects of Customs Clearance work)
• Work closely as part of a team with both internal and external colleagues to ensure the smooth day to day running of the department
• Frequently liaise both internally & externally to ensure all customs procedures are followed, enabling the efficient movement of goods between and UK & Ireland North & South

What you will need to succeed:

• 1 year experience in a similar or custom related role within a transport / logistics firm
• Sound working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages
• Previous Customs Broker or Forwarding Agent experience
