Development & Innovation Technologist Co Longford Fulltime/Permanent Monday - Friday Days, Early Friday Finish Hybrid Working Available Attractive Package
Vickerstock are excited to be working in partnership with a leading global provider within the FMCG industry who have been successfully running for over 60 years. Due to their continued success, we are seeking a Development & Innovation Technologist to join the team at the state-of-the-art facility based in Co Longford.
Reporting to the Development & Innovation Manager you will be a key member of the Group Research & Development team by supporting the responsibility for driving the development process from idea to implementation to ensure products meet customer projects / deadlines.
Key Duties (further duties provided on full description)
Manage all aspects of customer accounts from Research and Development perspective and be key point of contact for all sites and all formats
Manage product portfolio to ensure it is aligned with relevant brand
Design recipe and diets with a risk-based approach.
Develop close relationships with customer and commercial teams
Support innovation plans to meet market needs in all customers, channels and markets.
Execute palatability trials to ensure performance is consistently monitored against brand and benchmark.
Ensure all aspects of the NPD process meets the agreed deadlines
Co-ordinate customer visits and product presentations
You must have
Industry recognised qualification in relevant field (Food/Science etc)
Manufacturing experience / NPD & EPD projects
Track record on successful development and implementation of NPD.
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations internally and externally.
Working hours will be Monday - Thursday 9am to 5.30pm and early Friday finish at 4.30pm. There will also be hybrid working available (more information at application stage).
