Electrical Design Manager - Building Services | Ballymena
A leading building services contractor is seeking an Electrical Design Manager to join its established design and delivery team in Ballymena. With a strong reputation for delivering complex M&E solutions on large-scale healthcare, education, commercial, and industrial projects across the UK and Ireland, the company continues to expand its in-house design capability to support a growing portfolio of prestigious contracts.

Your new role as Electrical Design Manager - Building Services

You will be responsible for the management of external consultants, main contractors and clients to develop MEP designs and carrying out verifications of design's including detailed analysis of IES, Revit, Amtec and Hevacomp output data. You will also be responsible for the development of concept designs, the management of key deliverables and attending design meetings.

What you will need to succeed as an Electrical Design Manager

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A degree or HND in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proven experience in the design of building services electrical systems within a contractor or consultancy environment
• Strong technical knowledge of LV distribution, lighting, fire alarms, security, and data systems
• Experience working on large-scale, complex projects such as hospitals, schools, or major commercial developments
• Good working knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise effectively with clients, consultants, and contractors
