Electrical Engineer (Water) | Belfast

Vickerstock are delighted to be working with a leading MEP contractor to support in the recruitment of an Electrical Engineer to join their talented water/wastewater team. With a successful track record and strong reputation, this local organisation has the ability to become a leading international contractor. This well-established practice delivers highly complex projects from the preconstruction stages to completion throughout a range of sectors including; infrastructure, water / utilities, heavy civils, and marine schemes.

Your new role as an Electrical Engineer (Water)

As Electrical Engineer, you will become a valued member of a growing team to work on a range of water and wastewater projects throughout Northern Ireland. It is your responsibility to deliver all electrical elements, where required, of contracts and tenders for specific projects within the waster and wastewater industry. You will be provided with an extensive project order book so will be working on a variety of schemes.

What you will need to succeed as an Electrical Engineer (Water)

  • A third level qualification (degree preferred) in Electrical Engineering or similar;
  • Experience of working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, preferably within the water/wastewater sector;
  • Working knowledge of specialist design software including Amtech ProDesign, EPlan and AutoCAD;
  • Experience using Revit (or similar) is an advantage.
