Package: Around the £30K plus region

30 Holidays per year

4 day week Monday to Thursday

Overtime is available - including on fridays

Sheet Metal industry

Full Time permanent role

We have a current requirement for and experienced Laser programmer who will use their technical knowledge and expertise to produce laser programmes whilst ensuring maximum efficiency. There will also likely be some exposure to solidworks design package.

The Role of Laser Programmer CADCAM :

• Programming (SigmaNEST) the laser machinery in an efficient manner, with maximum output and minimum wastage, setting up and laying out / nest as effectively as possible
• Resolve issues as they arise, managing the design and providing detailed solutions
• Continuous improvement of activities ensuring product, quality, and customer satisfaction
• Stay knowledgeable of machine component advancements and competitor design trends; apply latest technology to new and existing designs where appropriate to stay current and innovative
• Comply with all health and safety standards
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Criteria of Laser Programmer CADCAM :

• Programming experience in a similar sheet Metal Product industry
• A knowledge of 3D Cad software such as Solidworks would be preferred but not essential
• A strong working knowledge of mechanical systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications - specifically excel / formulas
