Manufacturing Programs Manager

Ballymena

£47,000

Vickerstock are working in partnership with one of NI's leading manufacturing companies for the appointment of a Manufacturing Program Manager. Reporting to the Operations Director you will be responsible for overseeing the journey of the products throughout the production cycle, working on continuous improvement programs to ensure the company achieves it performance goals

Your new role

  • Develop, maintain, and review the master production schedule to meet customers' orders, provide short and long-term forecasts to ensure on-time delivery and efficient resource utilisation.
  • Capture forecasts, customer demands and other important factors to produce a schedule that maintains planning standards and that can be adhered to.
  • Collate and analyse production data and performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of production plans and make data driven decisions.
  • Assess the performance of current manufacturing processes, using appropriate structured techniques to drive improved performance.
  • Play an active role in the delivery of continuous improvement by identifying ways to reduce costs and improve standards.
  • Design and deliver business cost improvement programmes in accordance with organisational strategy.
  • Lead in the execution and support of business-based projects.

What you'll need

  • An engineering related qualification or time served
  • 5 years Management experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable experience and ability to deliver operational solutions across continuous improvement projects, workforce planning and training and development of staff
