Role: Site Engineer

Location: Newry, travel across Ireland required

Vickerstock are working with a Main Contractor based in Newry to recruit a Site Engineer for a portfolio of construction projects

About the Company:

A Main Contractor based in Newry with work across Ireland and NI. Projects span Residential & Commercial construction as well as Fit-Out.

Your new role as Site Engineer:

• Management of setting out using equipment such as Leica TotalStation
• Ensure works are compliant with construction designs and specifications
• Complete regular quality inspections
• Subcontractor coordination
• Regular reporting on project progress
• Mentor graduate engineers
• Assist with risk assessments
• Promote a strong culture of Health & Safety on site

Please note there are sites across Ireland and Northern Ireland. You may be asked to travel to visit sites.

What you'll need to be successful:

• 2+ years site experience
• Degree-qualified or working experience within a related industry
• Setting out experience
• CSCS/CSR Card
• Full driving licence
• Ability to travel to visit sites across Ireland & NI
• Irish or UK citizenship due to travel requirements
