Due to successful company growth, we are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join the team. You will report to the Factory Manager and be responsible for daily management and control of factory operations including planning, production, quality, yields and wastage.

Key Duties

• Oversee & co-ordinate plant operations & personnel
• Provide leadership and direction to operations staff
• Manage customer relationships relating to service, delivery and quality
• Develop and execute the daily/weekly production schedules
• Ensure that the production floor has the necessary manpower, competence, skill, knowledge, plant and equipment required
• Track daily progress with department supervisors, readjust schedules and communicate any changes
• Preparing cost estimates and performance reports relating to manufacturing schedule, budgetary targets and inventory levels.

We are looking for

• Proven experience in food manufacturing operations
• 3+ years' experience at management level
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, quality management systems, and production processes.
• Demonstrated experience of problem solving and process improvements

Working hours will be Monday - Friday Day Shift, can be flexible with start/finish times. Flexibility is required for cover/busy periods etc if and when needed.
