This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with experience in production planning or transport scheduling who is looking to develop their career in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The role will start as a temporary cover position, with the opportunity to apply for one of three permanent roles within the wider Supply Chain function.

You will play a key part in ensuring customer demands are met through efficient scheduling, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration across the site.

The Role
Working as part of a supportive and forward-thinking Supply Chain function, you will be responsible for:

  • Reviewing weekly production requirements and scheduling output to meet customer demand

  • Monitoring daily adherence to the plan and adjusting priorities as required

  • Collaborating with Customer Care and Logistics teams to resolve supply or delivery challenges

  • Coordinating requests for special deliveries or concessions, ensuring all documentation is accurate

  • Maintaining and reporting on plan change costs and KPI performance

  • Managing production orders and shipping master data within SAP

  • Ensuring material availability and supporting daily transport planning where required

  • Creating delivery orders and liaising with approved logistics providers to ensure on-time delivery

  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to a strong safety culture across the site

What You'll Need

  • Proven experience in a Supply Chain, Production Planning, or Transport Scheduling role

  • Proficiency in MS Office and exposure to SAP or another ERP system

  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment

  • A proactive approach, with strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Ideally, a background in food manufacturing or another FMCG sector

  • Professional certifications such as APICS, IPICS, or CIPS would be advantageous

Why This Role
You'll be joining a company that genuinely values its people, operates with a strong commitment to safety and quality, and offers excellent opportunities for long-term progression. This is an ideal entry point for someone keen to build a lasting career within a global supply chain organisation.
