Vickerstock are delighted to be working alongside a leading specialist in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering to support in the recruitment of a Project Manager. This organisation is well-established in a number of industries offering professional and high-quality services which include water/wastewater treatment, power control, automation, and switchgear. With a proven track record in project excellence, this practice is expanding their team to satisfy their continuously increasing workload.

Your new role as Project Manager

As Project Manager, you will work alongside your highly experienced team to deliver water/wastewater projects to the highest standard. You will work alongside the Contracts Director, managing a number of key projects including installation and commissioning. You will provide technical expertise and knowledge within all areas of the water industry, whilst leading teams of disciplines and subcontractors.

What you will need to succeed as Project Manager (it would be great if you have these but don't worry if not)

• Engineering related qualification or other relevant subject
• Working knowledge of industry practice and H&S legislation including management of risk assessments and HAZOPS
• Ability to work at remote sites either on own or with others
• Driving licence
• Experience in the water industry and in the delivery of water/wastewater treatment plant upgrades is beneficial.
