PSDP / PSCS Co-ordinator

Based Dublin

Excellent Project spanning 3 years on Major Infrastructure works in Dublin

The PSDP and PSCS Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the PSDP and PSCS entities and activities on behalf of the Contracting Entity, to ensure compliance with the HSSE requirements across the Infrastructure Department Portfolio.

Qualifications / Experience:

  • 5+ experience in Health and Safety across major infrastructure and engineering projects
  • Experience of working with the relevant national and international legislation particularly with respect to the duties and responsibilities of the PSDP and PSCS
  • Knowledge of the Health & Safety principles associated with best practice
  • Strong and demonstrable leadership and management experience in health and safety
  • Experience in developing, maintaining and operating within challenging Safety Management Systems

Responsibilities:

  • Be the first point of contact on behalf of the Contracting Entity for the management / coordination of all PSDPs and PSCSs appointed on all construction projects within the Infrastructure Department Portfolio.
  • Identify and develop a suitable register for all existing construction projects / activities within the Infrastructure Department Portfolio.
  • Develop an effective strategy and set a functional arrangement for coordinating activities of all PSDP and PSCS leads appointed on various construction projects within the Infrastructure Department Portfolio.
  • Make arrangements and develop procedures in order to effectively communicate the Contracting Entity
  • Interact effectively with the appointed PSDP/PSCS leads to ensure their activities are coordinated.
  • Engage with the relevant stakeholders within the Contracting Entity on intelligence from the airport operations to enable informed decision making and communicating to all PSDP and PSCS leads
  • Drive a functional strategic planning approach to align Health & Safety standards on all projects within the Portfolio with the Contracting Entity's goals through consultation with all PSDP and PSCS leads.
