Position: Quality Technician (6-Month Temporary Contract)
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Role Overview: As a Quality Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting quality inspections, implementing quality control procedures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to address any quality issues that may arise. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience in the FMCG industry and contributing to the success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform quality inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished goods
- Conduct tests and analyze data to identify trends and potential areas for improvement
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
- Investigate and resolve quality issues in a timely manner, working closely with production teams
- Document and communicate quality metrics and findings to relevant stakeholders
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Food Science, Chemistry, Biology) or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Familiarity with quality management systems and regulatory requirements (e.g., HACCP, ISO standards)
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Eligibility to work in Ireland
