Quantity Surveyor | Belfast

Vickerstock are working with a Co.Down Fit out company to support in the recruitment of a Quantity Surveyor. You will be reporting to the Commercial Director on the delivery of projects across the fit-out sector. This newly created role is a result of continuous innovation and growth to secure new contracts.

Your new role as Quantity Surveyor

In your new role, you will be supporting the Cost Management team to produce best practice solutions for the client and cost analysis to protect the company's interest. As a Quantity Surveyor in this team, you will be responsible for generating cost projections, risk forecasting and overseeing contract management from conception to completion. You will support the senior team to ensure successful project delivery and enhance value for money and minimise costs, while still enforcing standards & quality.

What you will need to succeed as a Quantity Surveyor

• Be degree qualified Quantity Surveyor (or relevant/extensive industry knowledge)
• Good understanding of the methods of construction
• Awareness of current health and safety and environmental requirements
• RICS qualified - Desirable
