Senior Quantity Surveyor | Lisburn

Vickerstock please to collaborate with a market leading construction firm specialising in the manufacture and delivery of modular buildings across Northern Ireland & UK, in their recruitment of an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Your new role as Quantity Surveyor

Reporting to the Commercial Director, you will play a pivotal role in the delivery of high-quality solutions across the education, healthcare and commercial sectors. Responsible for overseeing all contractual documents including tender documents and BOQ's. As an Senior team member, you will also be responsible for negotiating and issuing Sub Contractors' packages, liaising with site and contracts managers, and ensuring variations are agreed and completed within budget and agree final accounts.

What you will need to succeed as a Quantity Surveyor

  • Hold a third level qualification in Quantity Surveying or similar.
  • 10+ years' post-graduating experience in a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Prior experience in a Build or Fit-Out environment is beneficial but not essential.
  • Good understanding of the methods of construction and relevant software.
  • Experience on NEC or JCT contracts.
